Welcome to Hot Interconnects 10!
Stanford University / August 21 - 23, 2002

ONLINE REGISTRATION IS CLOSED
Please register on-site

This three day Symposium on High Performance Interconnects immediately follows the well attended Hot Chips Symposium providing a balance for the engineers involved in the software and hardware arenas. Hot Interconnects 10 brings together designers and architects of high-performance chips, software, and systems at the University and global business levels. Presentations focus on up-to-the-minute developments demonstrating leading-edge designs by engineers and researchers throughout the world. Three days of tutorials and technical sessions will keep you on top of the latest industry and academic laboratories.

Each year Hot Interconnects works very hard to bring you the best Keynote Speakers. This year we are extremely proud to present Vint Cerf, nicknamed "The Father of the Internet", an internet pioneer involved in the early design the ARPANET and a co-author of TCP/IP. We are also proud to present UC Berkeley Professor Eric Brewer, Co-Founder and Chief Scientist for Inktomi. Both gentlemen have many more accolades and you can read about them by clicking on their name links.

Our panel discussion will be lead by Dave Liddle, General Partner at U.S. Venture Partners. In January 2000, Mr. Liddle retired as president and CEO of Interval Research Corporation, a Silicon Valley-based laboratory and incubator for new businesses focused on broadband applications and advanced technologies, founded in 1992. He was also founder of Metaphor Computer Systems in 1982 serving as president and CEO. Hot Interconnects 10 panel discussion topic: Wireless Wars: Wi-Fi vs. GPRS vs. 3G. You don't want to miss this interactive discussion!

All of this on the beautiful Stanford University Campus Memorial Auditorium for the third consecutive year. See photos from previous years in our archive. General information regarding parking and location information is on this site. Free conference parking is again located in a campus lot on the northeast corner of Galvez and Campus drives for attendees driving onto the campus. You'll see directional signs with the HOT logo throughout campus. A wealth of public transportation also serves the campus and surrounding area of Palo Alto, California. The weather during this event is typically gorgeous and a comfortable 80 degrees. Perfect weather for walking shorts and sandals!
